You may or may not know that this year marks the 40th anniversary of the movie Easy Rider (some of which was filmed in Taos, and starred Dennis Hopper). While some of you may be saying "So what!" I'll just say that while you're in Taos, it is a tremendous opportunity to take advantage of the city wide celebration going on. Lots of activites, art shows and the like... so when you're not taking advantage of all the special litarary events at the Taos Summer Writers Conference.....
