Herb Silverman took Rob Wilder's memoir workshop in the summer of 2010, and we just got word that the manuscript he worked on with is now being published! The book is called "Candidate Without a Prayer: An Autobiography of a Jewish Atheist in the Bible Belt," and Herb says that the revisions he worked on at Taos were instrumental in polishing the manuscript. It's coming out from
Pitchstone Publishing and copies are available for pre-order
here.

"My book would not be nearly as polished had it not been for the class I took with Rob," he wrote to us. "In my Acknowledgments, I thank Rob and the Taos writing group."
We also got good news from 2010 Taos Resident Award Winner Katherine Toy Miller: her chapbook of prose poems,
In a Cosmic Egg, is available for pre-order from
Finishing Line Press.

In 2010, Dr. Miller participated in Jesse Lee Kercheval's memoir workshop, where she worked on
One Hundred Years of Counterculture: from Munich to New Mexico with Frieda and D. H. Lawrence.
Congratulations, Herb and Katherine! We feel like proud parents!
